I will advice you go to the Nigeria Immigration office close to you and request an audience with the Deputy Comptroller in charge of port. Explain your unique situation and show evidence of your visas

I recon they might issue an emergency travel document for your baby which can serve as port for the visa application. Nothing is impossible but only the NIS can ascertain this . So pay them a visit

Same issue with my MA.
Only that our Bio was 7th December.
2 NSF mails but no documents requested after interview
2 paid mails but they said application is awaiting a decision and has been escalated.

Hello, please has anyone been debited for form A by Gtb recently and how long did it take please?

We are all in the same shoes.. I did my biometrics on the 13th of December and my application is still at DMC with no decision yet. School resumes on the 30th of the month. I am actually tired and exhausted about the situation.

It’s really not about priority. I did Dec 2nd and paid for priority. Decision was made Dec. 10, till now no collection email. I must have called, emailed, went to tls like 10 times now. School resumes today and still no port. Had to cancel my plane ticket, thank God for refundable tickets.
Does anyone know what happens if you don’t get your port before school enrollment ends? The school said the hard deadline to enroll is Feb 3, if the port is not returned by then. What is the next move?

You will need a port for you to apply for your newborns visa not an ETC(Emergency Travel Certificate)

2. Yes your wife can travel and return for the baby if you are certain you have someone you trust and the little one will be okay

Omg..this is the same issue my husband is having. He has got his BRP mail since December and no collection of port yet. It is mentally draining.

ETCs are used to travel back home when stuck abroad,this is not the case for the OP.The baby is home,UK is the abroad.

He will need a proper travel document for his new born

In my case I went to deputy high commission, Walter Carrington in Lagos and handed my letter to the security.

Official, verifiable documents to demonstrate what you have been doing since your graduation in 2016.

This should be in English or a certified translation and for example be in the form of: Payslips / employment letters with details on them / bank statements with regular salary being deposited / employment contracts / further education certificates and should not just be a CV.

I hope your issue gets resolved soon.
From all that you've said, I can't see any issue here. But that case workers are humans and the make mistakes and have their own biases even though there are policies they should be guided by.
Now, technically, because she's had previous refusals, she would have been tagged as high risks - the question for them is, were those previous refusals warranted/legitimate.
I'm sure you would be fine.
What I would do in your case is to call them as many times as possible, send as many mails as possible until you get the answer you want. Another thing I will do is to barrage them beyond reasonable doubt that the child in question is indeed my child - ie provide as many documents as you can get beyond birth certificate. School correspondence addressed to either of the parents, pictures, hospital appointments from very early age, immunisation documents if you still have them.
