Home office will need your school to tell them you have successfully completed the course to meet the eligibility. Are they going to do this if you have not completed fees? How does one have money for Graduate visa application fees but none to complete the tuition fees is a likely question to be asked as well. You can’t get to HO without the school’s approval.

again, it depends on the school. Some only include the course start date. My school has only the course start date on my CAS. The last date for physical resumption was communicated to us via the West African rep and it's 25 days after the course start date.

If you're so worried that you might be checked for financial evidence, try and convince her to give you for 24 hours till you arrive successfully. Perhaps, tell her your fears (those ones attached to not having the funds in your at POE). She just might budge as an African mummy. Dem dey quick fear.

Can you confirm that the transaction went through and you were debited through your bank?

It seems like a pending transaction and if it is then it should automatically be reversed back to your , that's for your bank to deal with

If the transaction went through then send another email to TLS with the evidence and give them sometime to sort it out

So what is clear from the scenario you have painted is there is a record of a recent visa application refusal with reasons provided irrespective of the confusion around whether the request to withdraw was successful or not, so you need to mention this refusal because it wasn't stated in your student visa application.

From the scenario, the reason why you are writing the letter is because there has been an update to your situation so the cover letter should be and it should read

“Cover letter -Addendum to Travel History(UK)”

You can go on to state in the 1st paragraph why you are writing the letter which is to update the ECO that you have recently received a refusal to the -----(state type of visa) UK visa application made on ------ date. State the purpose why you made the application e.g to attend the ------- conference which was to hold from ------ date to ------ date.

Secondly you state the date you received the refusal and quote the reasons provided for the refusal from the document received. You can then follow-up to highlight the reason why and actions you had taken to withdraw the application and the date prior to receiving the refusal notification.

Thirdly, you can state that the addendum has become necessary, as you had not highlighted this refusal when you completed your online student visa application as the refusal notification succeeded the completion of your student visa application. (you mentioned that you received the refusal yesterday and you had already submitted the online application)

You may wish to highlight for the Eco’s attention as you have mentioned here that you are a fully sponsored student and this is why you have not presented your personal bank statement with your application to demonstrate proof of funds (ideally, this could have been stated in the additional information section on the Visa form but it is still ok to state it here).

I found it very difficult reading this post

For your visa application you should be fine because parents can sponsor your studies but POE is a different story.

Your POF is for your studies so there should be a plan on how you will access the funds when you get here. It doesn't stop at submitting bank statement and birth certificate.

We can't tell you how to defend yourself at POE, Border patrol officers are psychologically trained and can smell a lie from a distance if they are interested in your case they know what to do

The question is,how will you access your funds in school? If you can answer that then you can defend yourself

You will need some evidence from Uni saying you have completed your course, I am pretty sure they will check your records for outstanding fees

Also, you won't get your certificate if you don't complete your fees

You have nothing to worry about
The chances you will be asked is very slim most of these rumors are from pof agents.
My cousin landed at heathrow yesterday and nothing of such.
In case, a day to your departure tell your mum to print out her bank statement and hold it.
Secondly she can easily demand for her bank statement online and send them to you.

According to him, his mum only doesn't want to release the funds to him to keep in his and he's worried about having the money in his at POE. They have the money, so he'll be fine. He's gone a long way already through the process. Except of course you have any alternative ideas.
