I said, okay no problem. but the thing that pains me so much is that these heartless entities deducted 6k out of 10k salary n left me took home only 4k. They deducted Five thousand naira for uniform which were never given to us n one thousand naira for audio application form fee respectively.

I returned home dejected, despair n feeling defeated with so many things running on my head. It's really paining me right now feeling like to go n burn their office n kill them all or arrange to kidnap them.

Another thing that I discovered is that the factory owner pay my company 20k but they'll pay me 10k. but one thing that always motivated me is that the factory owner usually buys me food n drinks, sometimes even tips me 500 naira. So I feel like I was just saving my salary I'll cash out later whenever they paid me but it end up in tears, anger n gnashing of teeth.

Ladies and gentlemen I want your candid advice on how to go about this issue please. Should I go ahead and sue them to pay me my remaining salary or ask the factory owner to avoid the company n pays me directly since he
likes me?

Why don't you quit and start a small hustle. I mean 10k salary is not just worth it. I'm sure you would make more by maybe doing other things. Look inward and try to pinpoint what you are good at. Even if it is lesson teacher, it's still better than that useless job.

Speak with the owner directly, but don't tell him full reasons except you have not been paid for all the months you worked so far, then quit from the security company, just tell him you will be okay to work for him directly in the company even if na cleaner for the main time, the pay could be higher and promptly paid.

It is not as easy as you have made it sound. The company which employed him could accuse the factory owner of poaching their staff

Folks asking him to talk with the factory boss directly... It's a 50/50 situation.

Since you say you didn't get uniform nor the application form.. You're only working based on gentleman agreement. They can actually sue your boss if he employs you behind their back.

You talk to him, if you've been a good staff... Then tell him you want to terminate your contract with the agency... But that you will still be delighted to work under him.

Suggest it. Don't demand it.

Reason why I said he can start as a cleaner or any other role and not necessarily the security job, with time he can then let the man know how he was badly treated and short paid so he can employ people directly, but I also know that most people use all these security outfits for the ease it provides them in carrying out background check done by the security companies.

There is a serious problem in our society today especially with our youths.

But some people are damn heartless, I will suggest you tell the factory owner about the situation and tell him that you're going to resign from the security company to work directly for him.

Apply in the leather factory to work as a labour staff, or any other factory, your pay would be clearly higher than the 10k they pay you.

As for your current employer, they have no plans of paying you, just get another job and forget about them.

All these security companies are fund of this... I was surprised when I found the security our company pay 45k per person na 15k they collect from it..... but one thing with Nigerians if they get the work direct , they will never be serious like they do with all these agents.
