I know many people in our parents generation who finished University abroad and relocated straight to village. I will say almost 70% of Nigerian returnees in the 60s 70s went straight back to their home state

Nowadays almost 90% of returnees stay in Lagos

I know several people who have actually relocated families from village to Lagos due to insecurity

Nowadays if you have a friend you believe is smart, graduated and says he is going to Osun, Abia Kogi after graduation, you will simply look at him like he has no ambition in life. If you are not fleeing the country at least go Lagos.
