I'm looking for a term in Yoruba to describe fifth columnists, traitors, boot-lickers and sell-outs. What is it?

When someone says the Yoruba word for "traitor," you will know your answer.

For your info efulefu means a waste man not a traitor/sellout.

shotster50:It's thesame concept,,,when a member of an ethnic group is undermining that particular ethnic group from within, then such man/woman is a wasted/useless person. In most cases he or she (the useless person) must have a personal/financial interest to go against the general/wider interests of that particular ethnic group, hence; the sellout/traitor tag. Efulefu in Igboland means sellout/traitor in the nigerian arena and not just a useless person ![]() |

shotster50: But we also use the words for traitors/sellout as well. |
