They insult anyone that tries to enlighten them about why those two can't rule Nigeria in 2023. However, I always look at them and laugh at their ignorance.

The irony is that they're naive and emotional yet always arrogate on themselves as being sophisticated. Otherwise, they should have since seen the handwriting on the wall but greed and desperation won't allow them.

There is a saying that those who fail to learn from history, would only enable history to repeat itself. Prior to 1979 general elections, Awolowo was much more popular than Shagari. In the West, he had already assumed a god status among his people and wasn't unpopular in the North based on his contributions on the Nigerian side during the civil war. However, Northern elite were smart enough to know he was a bigot and ethnocentric. Thus, they liased with OBJ who was the military ruler then to ensure that Shagari wins. Now BAT and Awo share a lot in common and both were also desperate to rule Nigeria.

Since independence, no leader has emerged in Nigeria without behind the scenes manipulations by Northern cabals and 2023 is not going to be any different. They used OBJ to pacify the SW in 1999 against perceived injustice in the 1993 annuled elections. They allowed GEJ to win the first time to assuage Niger Delta minorities. That is why popular candidates hardly emerge during elections in Nigeria!

By 2023, only Igbos have serious grouse that is threatning the Nigerian state. Same position Igbos are now was were Yorubas were in 1999. Ekwueme was the leader of G34 that formed PDP yet Northern cabals pitched their tent with Obasanjo that came out of prison, totally broke.
