The Line Block Valve at KP38 was closed to isolate the sabotage point and depressurization of the line, this will affect gas supply to Alaoji (Power Plant) until further notice. It will be recalled that Omotosho NIPP was shut down last month when Nigeria Gas Company (NGC) due to system wide curtailment of all gas shippers (gas producers/off takers) by Nigeria Gas Company (NGC) “to forestall the imminent collapse of the gas grid.” NGC said at the time that the Trans-Forcardos Pipeline (TFP), belonging to NGC was breached on December 17, 2021. That breach led to the deferment of about 250 million standard cubic feet of gas, MMscfd of gas from the Pipeline Network, a situation that brought the Network Pressure to abysmal levels, thereby triggering an emergency. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria is suffering mainly from bad followers not leaders because we select the leaders from the followers. The vandals must have finished the proceeds by now leaving millions in "Oh God mode" alphaNomega: Except you believe leaders are born and not made, leaders spring up from followers. A good followers will produce good leaders. 11 Likes 1 Share |

We are the government. We are the citizens. We are the system. We are the wrongs we enjoy complaining about. We are our very own worst enemies. Such a pity... 15 Likes 2 Shares |

People are complaining of inadequate power supply, some idiots still went to vandalize a power station! Nigerians are wicked sha, maybe that's why God keeps giving the country the leaders that fit the people. Abia state is always in the forefront of vandalization. They will vandalize newly laid rail tracks, vandalize power projects, almost all the roads in Aba are bad with deep gullies, criminals have vandalized Abia state, the dirtiest state in the country, government workers are owed salaries for up to a year. Infact there is nothing in Abia state to write home about. 11 Likes 3 Shares |
