when police arrest you, they can only keep you for 24hrs. The law says that after 24hrs they must release you or take you to court. But if they have not finished the investigation, they are to go to court to obtain what we call remind order, they will tell the court the number of days they will like to keep you in their custody for them to finish their investigation. In this case, I guess the police asked for 21 days. @decasey

in this Dowen's raging saga, if you ask me who are the most irresponsible of all the suspected culprits, I'll say the house/hostel masters.

Is the school owner the principal or the one managing the affairs of the school? I'm happy the culprits have been apprehended and let them face the law but it will be injustice to drag everyone associated with the school into this

From what i got the school management only reported what they where told by the house master and the clinic ... the boy himself earlier said it was a football match so that was what the school reported .

The house master and not the school faulted .
