Well out of curiosity, I did last night.

Not really that I'd wanted to, just by happenstance, I did.

I pulled over, to make a quick withdrawal from a POS machine, lo and behold, a very beautiful dark skinned lady, with a large ifedi behind, immediately, I got attracted to her, her name is Belema, and it turned out she's Okrika lady from Rivers State, and everything transpired in between the short period we discussed, and we found ourselves having dinner at "Choppee" a popular sit-out in the city of Eket.

Note I was referring to her as Ijaw, but I didn't outrightly call her Ijaw in the cause of all our discussions, until I said, WOW, I've never dated Ijaw girl before. And responded, who's Ijaw girl?.

Okrika , Kalabari, Bonny and Opobo are Historically Igbo because of their Igbo heritage.. History documented over 100-200 years ago shows they are Igbo, not Ijaw

I don't think that's what it means per se. Ethnicities can change.. Bonny for sure, 100% are Igbos, even their current native tongue is Igbo till today. Although, there are a mix a little mix of brass tribe. Bonny's history is not something that is so far or ancient. There have been books and historical records of them from inception.

Okrika on the other hand, have their own new language. They are possibly a mix of different people today, but yeah, as you can see from that record, they originally had Igbo ancestry .. even when you look at them, they look totally Igbo in every way. The written history books, called this accurately and the records are well documented.

Kalabari, there history have been discussed in details.. they are a mix of people but they are not Ijaw and won't accept that label. The name "Kalabari" is a recent coinage and not a very ancient name.

I thought we've all agreed that Ikwerre is not igbo, so why bringing us into the boundary issue and even using "Igwu ọcha" for it?
