If you want to be a ghost, then don't use any devices at all.

That feature by Google is actually good, because with ML/AI, your interests can be studied and resources can be routed your way when you use the internet.

And whether you turn it off or not, your data is still being stored.

I don't see any thing being exposed here - we usually don't care to read and conditions before g up for something.
