In past times during times of war in the medieval era, the King's and generals were the ones leading the foot soldiers into battle. Simple logic dictates that civilians and Afghan partners shoudl have been pulled out before the military, instead, the greatest chunk of the military was pulled out first. That led to the talban taking control of the country which Mr. Biden claims to have beens urprised about.

Yet, there was credible intelligence that this would be the exact outcome.
