We thought that we had finally gotten an updated thread about Swedish issions and student visa until the the OP was involved in copy right controversy that led to the thread being deleted.

In the hope to keep the journey alive, ission decisions have been released today 9th April, 2021 and our people can share their experiences here.

As for me, I received ission to my first ranked school, Umea University MSc in ing while other choices were automatically deleted.

good morning,what is schooling like in Sweden,is it study and work,what's the tuition fee like.

Students are eligible to work part-time during school time and full time during holidays.

Tuition varies and are usually paid in installment each semester. For instance, you are expected to pay 46,500 SEK every semester for my course at Umea University.

If one is fortunate to get a scholarship, that will be a massive savings.

Love the idea of doing my Msc in Sweden but the fees is just too much. Without scholarship it would be almost impossible to afford it.

On the other hand, their Phd program is tuition free. I am thinking of probably obtaining my masters in Nigeria from an institution with a fast school calendar like Unilag, and then applying for my PhD over there in Sweden, the downside is the process is a long one..

Got ission from Linnaeus University, hopeful for the University and SI cos the tuition na die!!!

I want to also that with TetFund, but my worry is that before applying for resident permit card, one ought to have paid first semester's tuition installment and due to how sluggish TetFund can be in dispensing the funds, that might eat deep into the timing ... I don't know if the sponsorship letter issued by TetFund can be used in place of the first semester's payment evidence...

When are they releasing the school's scholarship results?

As for the sponsorship letter in relation to the Swedish process, I have not heard about that before.

Most of the schools will expect the students to pay the first installment by the end of this April.

SI should give me scholarship first, I can even do 2 semesters from here.
