Doyin Okupe, a former presidential aide has reacted to the revelation by his son Bolu, who revealed on Thursday that he is gay.

He made this known on his Instagram page even as he shared a photo of himself in rainbow-coloured shorts with a rainbow flag behind him.
Alongside the picture, Bolu wrote: “Yes, I’m Gay AF,”

Reacting to the picture, Okupe wrote "The picture below is that of Mobolurin Okupe. He is my son. I gave him the name MOBA OLUWA RIN, ( I WALKED WITH GOD) because he was born at the time I gave my life to Christ".

"He knows that as a Christian and a witness for Christ ( an evangelist) I am vehemently opposed to homosexuality as it runs contrary to the avowed precepts of my Christian faith".

Dear Doyin Okupe, I feel the disappointment and sadness in your soul. I can imagine how his mother feels right now too. This wasn't part of the script but sh*t has happened.The truth is that there is little you can do now. The gay man is an adult. Commit him to God in prayer, give him his due as a son and leave the rest to God who made you and him. Don't allow hypertension to kill you or madam on head of this gay son. We all have individual life to live and to for.

What is this man saying? Why is he using Christ and religion to throw his own son under the bus?

God created your son same way he created you, go wasn't blind or clueless when he created your, God sees and he's behind whatever we become in life so unless you so if you really are saved, love Christ and believe in God almighty, then accept your son as the work of God.

Love your son unconditionally, that's your job as a parent, that's if you are really a true Christian and a believer in God.
