*MESSAGE:*

The divine love of God makes Him set a person up for uncommon miracles. Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings in one day; this moved God to ask him for what he wanted and he said, “Give me wisdom”. God responded to his request by saying, “I will give you wisdom and add every other thing you didn’t ask for”. I spent some time studying Solomon because of his wisdom and prosperity. I had to ask myself “This was a young man who knew he was not wise, because that must have been why he asked for wisdom; how come he thought of giving God a thousand burnt offerings?” I then got a revelation from the Lord – it was a divine set-up. It is God who inspired Solomon to do something nobody had ever done before so that He, in turn, could do for him what He had never done for anyone before.

In *2 Samuel 12:24-25,* the Bible says that when Solomon was born, God Himself called him Jedidiah, meaning Beloved of the Lord. When God loves you, from time to time, He will set you up for an uncommon miracle. He will inspire you to do something that will sound stupid to everybody else so that He can give you what nobody else can get.
One day, when my Father-in-the-Lord was still alive, he told all the Church workers that there was an urgent need in the Church that had to be met early that week, so he asked us all to go and close our s, then bring all the money to the Church. My wife and I went to the bank the next day, closed our s, then brought the money to Church. The next Sunday, my Father-in-the Lord announced to all workers that the need had been met, then asked ‘Wait a minute; how many of you closed your s?” Only my wife and I raised our hands. When I realised that we were the only ones who closed our s, I started to think, “I hope I have not added madness to my own Christianity?” Just then I heard the Lord speak to me, “Son, you are not mad, I have made you do something that nobody else will do, so that when I take you to where I am taking you to, nobody can complain”.
Is the Lord inspiring you to do something seemingly crazy for Him? Do it so that you don’t miss the opportunity to get an uncommon miracle.

Christmas is not even a Christianic celebration. Akkording to Christian tradition, pagans celebrated it.
However, when the Romans legalized Christianity, they added the celebration of one of their gods usually celebrated on the 25th of December into Christianity. Later on, it was renamed “Christmas”.

New Year celebration is not celebrated in January when every part of Nature is dead.

They routinely performed rituals in which they would have sex like rabbits while fasting and praying.
They eventually drank poison and died. All of them. The FBI believe they feast on food secretly poisoned by the leader to cover his lies which never came to .

Another crazy religion with Worship centers in the US believes that humans appeared on earth after some aliens from another planet dumped radioactive waste in a big ditch on earth. The way to immortality they say is to fart daily. The more you fart (mess the air.. poo!) the closer you get to immortality. The HQ of the worship center is in Boston, USA and you'll see many educated people there
These ones don't celebrate Christmas or new year at all.

Indeed, no mater where you go you'll find a crazy character or two claiming to have knowledge and power. But check well and you find only ignorance, boredom with life, a greedy quest for wealth and/or attention or just pure old wickedness.

In our Bible text for today, we read about a widow who gave her all and the Lord Jesus was very impressed with her. He said she gave more than others even though what she gave was not as much as theirs.
Many people, when they want to be miserly, will take that story and say, This is my widow’s mite. They are deceiving themselves because I will tell them, firstly, you are not a widow. Secondly, you are not giving your all. It is when you have given your all that you can use that example.

When you bring something to God that costs you nothing, it holds little value in His sight. In fact, sometimes, He sees people’s offerings and feels insulted. He knows how much He gave to them, yet when they bring an offering, they bring it to Him as though He were a beggar. No wonder God ignores the offerings of many. David’s statement in *2 Samuel 24:24* where he said he would never give to God what cost him nothing should be one of our watchwords whenever we want to give to God.
*Psalm 126:5-6* says:
*They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.*
When taking your seed to God, check it: can it be described as a ‘precious seed’? It is those who go with what amounts to a ‘precious seed’ who will doubtless come again rejoicing. *Proverbs 11:25* says it is the liberal soul that will be made fat, not the miserly one. It is with what measure you sow that your harvest will come. *2 Corinthians 9:6* says:
*But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully*.
Don’t give unto God what will cost you nothing. You can decide the volume of your harvest by the size of what you sow.

*KEY POINT:*

When you bring something to God that costs you nothing, it holds little value in His sight.

Topic: Never Provoke God

MEMORISE: “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” – Hebrews 10:31 (KJV)

15 And the Lord God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, ri betimes, and sending; because he had comion on his people, and on his dwelling place:

16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

MESSAGE:

The greatest mistake anyone can ever make in life is to provoke the Almighty God. 1 John 4:8 tells us that God is love. He is not just a loving God, He is love personified, but Hebrews 12:29 also says He is a consuming fire. Every coin has two sides. On one side of God, you have love – love so great that He gave His only begotten Son for our sake. On the other side, however, He is a consuming fire. Thus when you hear of people who talk about God as love only, about grace 100% of the time and nothing more, stay away from them. God is indeed kind, merciful, and loving, but don’t mess with Him because He is a consuming fire. If He loves you specially and you fool around with Him, He will deal with you. The word of God made it clear in Hebrews 12:6:

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

You would think the Bible would say that whosoever the Father loves, He kisses, but that is not what it says. If you know that what you are doing is wrong and have been corrected severally yet you refuse to yield, then you are very likely provoking Him to anger already. You had better stop doing that thing you know He does not like. Proverbs 29:1 says:

He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Nobody can tell me that because God loves you, you can go ahead and do whatever you like. If you can do whatever you like, it is likely that He has forsaken you, because the Bible made it clear in Hebrews 12:8:

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

For those who say, “Pastor Adeboye is legalistic, he is always talking law”, I didn’t write the Bible. It is stated there clearly in both the Old and New Testaments that if you are doing wrong and God is not punishing you for it, then you are a bastard, and bastards will not be itted into the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 7:21-23).

ACTION POINT:

Do everything possible to ensure that you never ever provoke God.

*TOPIC: SETTING AND ACHIEVING GOALS 2.*

*3.* For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

*MESSAGE:*

After you have received your vision for the year from God, the next step is to write it *(Habakkuk 2:2).* Many times, the reason we don’t achieve what we set out to, is simply that we never wrote it down. God’s recommendation for running with a vision is to, first and foremost, write it down. Have you received an idea or instruction from the Lord? Go ahead and write it down now. In the course of doing this, you are bringing it to life; you are taking it from the spirit realm to the physical. Writing it is your first step towards achieving it. You are to write it down along with what you will do to achieve it.

The next step will be to “make it plain upon tables”. In making it plain, you can break it into objectives or smaller goals, and as you accomplish each of them, you’ll get closer to achieving the entire vision. Note that *Habakkuk 2:2* says ‘tables’ and not ‘table’. You are therefore to paste it everywhere around you where you will keep seeing it over and over again. When you do that, you and those the Lord has prepared to you can begin to run with it.
Now, beyond writing down what to do to achieve the vision, you must also take note of the things not to do to ensure that your vision is fulfilled, *Matthew 9:17* says:
*Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.*
You cannot achieve new things with old habits. There are some friends who pulled you back last year; you need to dissociate yourself from them this year. Check your morning routines last year; did they help you get the best out of your days? If not, then you need to change them. How was your relationship with God last year? If it was shaky, then you must be determined to draw closer to Him this year than ever before. , if the Lord does not build a house, those who try to build it are merely wasting their time *(Psalm 127:1)*.

*ACTION POINT:*

Write down your vision make it plain and prayerfully run with it.

Believe it or leave it he got thousands followers who together bought several acres of land in a remote region of the USA and camped there waiting for Jesus. They routinely performed rituals in which they would have sex like rabbits while fasting and praying.
They eventually drank poison and died. All of them. The FBI believe they feast on food secretly poisoned by the leader to cover his lies which never came to .

Another crazy religion with Worship centers in the US believes that humans appeared on earth after some aliens from another planet dumped radioactive waste in a big ditch on earth. The way to immortality they say is to fart daily. The more you fart (mess the air.. poo!) the closer you get to immortality. The HQ of the worship center is in Boston, USA and you'll see many educated people there

You cannot achieve new things with old habits. There are some friends who pulled you back last year; you need to dissociate yourself from them this year. Check your morning routines last year; did they help you get the best out of your days? If not, then you need to change them. How was your relationship with God last year? If it was shaky, then you must be determined to draw closer to Him this year than ever before. , if the Lord does not build a house, those who try to build it are merely wasting their time *(Psalm 127:1)*.
