This article is indirectly pointing to the wife as the cause of the man's suicide. In my opinion, the wife who is "a trained lawyer and entrepreneur" should sue the writer for the affront to her persona.

Is that not the usual Naija way? Divorce - blame the wife, domestic violence- blame the wife,death- blame the wife.

This gentleman had an accident and stopped socialising and practically became reclusive, I'm assuming a lot of other things about him would have changed as well,along with rumors of financial difficulties and perhaps some problems with his marriage..its a cocktail of pressure for anyone. Some people can't cope and do something impulsive in a bid to end that suffering.

The signs are usually there but we tend to believe people can just 'man up ' and get over it. A lot of people are going through mental suffering and anguish but have to pretend as if they're okay because of them say them say.

Depression and despair will not discriminate, rich or poor, anyone can fall prey.

RIP to him and I hope there will be some therapy available for the people who found him and those he left behind.

the strange thing is that some put up a very good front. My friend commuted suicide after chatting with me on Facebook. The chat was related to a post on BBC about the feelings people have when their loved ones commit suicide. We chatted and went to sleep. Little did I know he was talking about himself. Next thing I see is his family people and friends ing me and asking me what else he told me. I'm like.... What's going on. Well.... They told me he killed himself.

He wasn't reclusive, he wasn't poor, he had a good palour from the pictures I used to see, and even a young daughter.

Sigh... Indeed, the rich also cry!!! Money can't salve or solve everything.
