i recently lost my e-port in norway, now it a big drama to get new one
i based in Austria(wien) but unfortunately Austrian Nigeria embassy dint have the port machine
i appled for appointment online,i got appointment @ Nigeria embassy Berlin ,i went with
every document they needed to Berlin,after payin 200euro to embassy acct,i was told that it not
possible for then to re issue E-port.and i cant get my money back
i dnt understand,i lost 200 bus plus train ticket to Berlin,hotel and risk to travel without port
to another country and i get nottin,i didn't even get a good answer, i was advise to go back to Nigeria,
some also say i should go to Rome Italy,it easy,. am confuse because my woman will soon give birth and
if i dint present my port my baby will not answer my family name, i need advise how can i get myE-port
without travelin to nija?any niaralander in Italy? is it true that i can get my re-issue in Italy.

To the best of my knowledge u can only get a re-issue from their head office in Abuja.
If u have a copy of the port u don't need to come just give someone (family or friend) the port number and they will get a re-issue for u in Abuja.
Re-issue is more difficult nowadays. U will need a Police report,the port number and bribe
When i lost mine in 2009 i got a re-issue within 10 days in Abuja for 25k.

Unfortunately and funny enough NO Nigerian embassy abroad will re issue you with eport. You can only do that in Nigeria. You can only get new eport abroad only if you were using the standard port
I still do not understand the reason why they are not re issuing eport at Nigeria embassy abroad.
As regard to your child bearing your surname, I don't think you need your port even if you are not married. At the hospital or maternity clinic that your wife will give birth they have to ed you as the father of the child once your partner or wife consent to that. So that shouldn't be bothering you.

I can't really the guy name but there are alot of guys there. If u get to their office just try to talk to an officer from there they should link u up with runs man among them.
Talk to them one on one and u should be able to get u one without any hassle. It takes alot of paperwork for them to re-issue so u have to be patient.

I just told u i did it myself. They don't need your fingerprint they already have it in their database.
They only need their boss a replacement and they will print u another one immediately.
Dont make things difficult than they appear.

I went to their office and made a deal with someone there and gave him money and i left Abuja and told my cousin to send it to me when it's out. 10 days after i left i got my port and they didn't have to take my biometrics again since it's with them.
Send one of your friends their with your port number and money and u will get your port no matter where u are

port so many complications may God help you

Shouldn't hesitate i recently got hook in thesame scenerio, but thanks God here in Saudi the machine for E-port is available, i think wat u need to do is have a deal with an embassy worker in the country you are to process it for you.
Re-issuing is a problem in naija also, May God help!!

yeah u will get the port but u will go of of Austria u should try italy wish u good luck

i am writing you directly from italy. i believe everything is possible in that criminal embassy rome. touts has taken over the embassy, bribery and corruption is the order of the day in nigerian embassy rome,so you must be ready to pay bribe for every services and your port will be re-issued. but hold atleast 1400 euro for it.

They Also have the port Machine in Athens Greece if u have any there u could go there

I have problem with my signature in my e-port. it does not bring out my real signature.
In fact i cant even sign what is there. Is it possible to get this adjusted in Abuja?getting another one? or i have to continue using the port like that. I cant presently use it for signature verification.
I need advice on what to do.

I also live here in South Africa,Cape Town, I lost my e-port early this year and I was planning to go home (Nigeria)for the re-issue of the e-port. I need your help to save me from this trip.

If you are in Europe you can reissue your E prt at Nigeria embassy in D hague Holland but it is too expensive, the embassy have even wrote the price for lost and reissue e port request on their website which is 250 euros + 40 euros istrative charge + $65 Nigeria immigration fees, if you calculate all, person fit go naija come back

But if any1 know or have experience on reissue process particularly in Europe kindly share your experience with us. ESe, Dalu, Nagode

Please if one has a visa on an existing port, and gets married, and does a new port with a change of name 2 husbands name, can one attatch the old port(which was cancelled without prejudice) to the new one and still travel wit the visa on the old cancelled port?
