Daystar Christian Centre the popular church started by Pastor Sam Adeyemi on Wednesday celebrated its 25th anniversary, Igbere TV reports.

In a tweet, the church said: “Today, we celebrate the God-idea that is @DAYSTARNG. We are overwhelmed by a deep sense of gratitude for God’s transformative power at Daystar Christian Centre. The phenomenal testimonies of changed lives are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Happy 25th Anniversary to us!”

Appreciating its leaders, Adeyemi and his wife Nike, the church further said: “We are immensely grateful for God’s gifts to us, @sam_adeyemi & @NikeAdeyemi, thank you for your exceptional leadership and influence.

“We celebrate our leaders, volunteers, around the world, thanks for being a part of the Daystar Story. Happy 25th Anniversary to us!”

Adeyemi had only on Tuesday been named into the Forbes Coaches Council.

The cleric has trained thousands of people in leadership for more than two decades through the Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA).

Started listening to Pastor Sam Adeyemi since I was in secondary School about 15 years ago. His radio broadcast SUCCESS POWER use to air on raypower FM Abuja.

That man is full of wisdom. listening to him helped me to discover my ion and potential early. I started my first business at 17 and from then on its been a great ride.

I will say most pastors these days are now motivational speakers,they talk too much and do little when it comes to manifestation of the spirit.See not everyone should be a pastor If u don't have the anointing to manifest God's spirit u talk dry and turn to preference and studies as mere educationist which most pastors have now turn to.I sincerely miss archbishop benson idahosa that's the only man I know in Nigeria that has it.I see no one up till now
