A Nigerian man based in Malaysia has reportedly been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Aba, Abia State. a few days after returning to the country, Igbere TV reports.

According to reports, the deceased, identified by IGBERE TV as George Smith who has been based in overseas for a long time before returning to Nigeria recently.

Findings shows that late Smith hails from Igbere, suburban town in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.

Igbere TV learnt that Smith, who is popularly called Aki Ilu was inside a barbing salon when some gunmen believed to be assassins shot him dead.

Igbere just lost a young handsome guy to the street... Akilu you called me yesterday, though I couldn't reach you, I was troubled within me from then till now, until I saw the terrible picture of you dead, shot in the head at a close range, while you seated on that barbers chair armless, I said this is it and why I was restless. I wish you lived longer, and for your child, who will she call daddy?

A man who succeeded in a far away country came back to his country and was killed helplessly.
This is really disheartening,the best gift every Nigerian parents can give to their unborn kids is giving birth to them anywhere far away from Nigeria even if it's togo or cotonou.

Could it have been business gone wrong?

Could it have been an old cult clash revisited after the deceased must have thought his years away from home would have been enough to make his rivals forget about him.

Whatever the reason for his assassination is, this is sad and a waste of life.

Since I started having kids, I started becoming very careful with my deeds and actions.
