2 We the citizens only hope for a better country
We are not working for it.

That aside, is it a must that you must study abroad? This craze of anywhere abroad is becoming unbecoming. Where is Cyprus in the scheme of nations in this world? Most people going to study in these countries plan to remain there after studies...infact, that's the primary reason why they go to study over there, so as to japa after the studies.
We who studied in this country in those days even when internet and the use of Google wasn't popular are still making headway in this country, both as employees and employers of labour. I know friends, colleagues, clients, family, brethren, etc and thousands of people that I don't even know directly who schooled in this country and by virtue of hard work and favor, have even dined & worked with the high and mighty in this country.
Education is at a low level in this country but it is not so bad to the point that you have to travel out to a place like Cyprus for education and lose your life there.
Besides, education is just part of life...it doesn't and never guarantees you riches, in Nigeria or abroad.
