I'd rather die by covid19 than to be swept away by flood. At least, with covid19, I might still get the opportunity to chop NCDC money small but with flood, na straigt to hell one time! |

I don't know him but they say the eyes are a mirror of the soul. He looks like he was a good person. His eyes look kind... God rest his soul and comfort his family. 2 Likes |

One cannot begin to imagine the anguish this unfortunate adventure have caused the family. My mom use to say, "Dem no waka, dem no see trouble". It's not cowardice. It can save your life.

I know him.A brilliant, ardent follower of Christ and preacher of his kingdom and so promising young man. He lived in Niger. I was shocked to hear of his demise.

Awesomeking: There have been reports of recent flooding in the Gwagwalada area. As well as the Giri area and some other parts of the FCT. None from the city itself. Modified These reports go into more detail Flood submerges Abuja. Flood in Suleja and Gwagwalada. |

Coldfeets: As a patient , you don't get any amount of the money spent on COVID treatment. It goes to the hospitals where the covid patients are kept to cover costs. Also, amounts spent per patients vary per severity of case. The ones who get over N1million spent on them are severe cases...ie cases that have to be put on a ventilator and oxygen. The money budgeted goes for their care (and speaking as a health care personnel, that's cheap...a private hospital would charge more for someone on a ventilator and oxygen whether covid 19 or otherwise.). |

Awesomeking:One occurred last Saturday. Its aftermath was broadcast on the news on Sunday morning. Many people complained about their houses becoming filled with water, and likened it to a swimming pool. Some lost important documents, and other valuables. I don't know if another flood occurred after then. So I'm guessing the deceased's case is most likely related to the one that occurred on Saturday. 2 Likes 1 Share |
