One of the aspirants for the All Progressive Congress (APC) Primaries in Ondo Gubernatorial race, Dr. Olusegun Abraham on Saturday, has debunked the rumours making the rounds over his disqualification by the party screening committee.

This was contained in a statement signed by his media officer, Ayokunle Adumashi at the State Capital city, Akure.

The statement reads apart;

"Our attention has been drawn to rumours making the rounds on the purported disqualification of dr Olusegun Abraham from contesting the governorship primary election of the APC in Ondo state. This is a lie from the pit of hell.

"It is sponsored by mischief makers who have become jittery of the soaring popularity of Dr. Olusegun Abraham. We wonder where this news filtered from when the APC screening is yet to make public the names of qualified and unqualified aspirants in the screening exercise.

"We implore the public to disregard such news and keep hope alive. We also urge all our ers to remain calm and continue preparing for our victory at the primaries as we await the names of qualified aspirants in the screening exercise by the authorities of our great party, APC. No cause for alarm, God is in perfect control."

It seems some people don't understand politics, their hatred for Tinubu has reversed their sense of reasoning,Am just laughing hard seeing people throwing tantrums at Tinubu in other thread. Common sense supposed to tell u that TINUBU has no rift with AKETI so far Tinubu right hand "OSHOBABA" has already declared indirect primary in Ondo. Ever since 1999 av u ever seen a scenario where a sitting governor loses indirect primary??

Even thou Abraham and Oke will shake AKETI but at the end AKETI will still trumph. I don't think Tinubu and AKETI av any confrontation at all even thou AKETI has a very big problem with majority of Ondo state party big wings, I was in Ondo barely two months ago and I had a discussion with some of the APC grassroots member, he told me AKETI singlehandedly sponsored AA candidate against Senator Borofice in Ondo south, it will be a tough battle for him because those people will never work for him even if he eventually clinch APC gubernatorial ticket, Interesting days ahead in Ondo state.

Ondo was waiting for Edo drama to cool down a bit before they start their own case of defections and dirty politicking. Edo and Ondo elections will be interesting, that's a fact.
