Obasanjo killed Nigeria petroleum industry ever since the military handed over power to him in 1999 and other successive governments are doing the same thing.
May God heal our Nation and bless us with ionate leaders who would take this nation to an enviable height.

The refineries have be down because of the fake turn around maintenance (T.A.M) they intended doing.... As at today there’s no maintenance work ongoing.... A lot of equipment , a lot of pipes worth billions of Naira would get destroyed because of this shutdown...

The refineries dropped 95% of its contract staff in April....Thereby sending graduates back to the streets .... These contract staff(s) do 95% of all the jobs there , but were refused permanent employment... These graduates have worked for close to 5 - 15years with nothing to show ...

The audio promise on One-year One-refinery is long gone with the winds.Huge turn around maintenance (TAM) cost is being paid but diverted into corrupt pockets while the FG is paying subsidy under-recovery yet price of petrol is ridiculously high.

This is what is known to cartographers as using mouth to draw map........

We have a Minister of Petroleum who doubles as President or is it the other way around?

What exactly does he have to say about this?

I will never forget how some educated i.d.i.o.ts attacked Atiku the day he said he will privatise NNPC if elected.

They used failure on power privatisation to justify their attack. I was wondering why they failed to see the gain in the open market in the Telecom industry. Surely education is not GOLDEN.

If you don't know there is a wide disparity between privitization and privately setup businesses. are you confuse
privatization is the transfer of public assets from govt to private individuals/firm ... buh did you forget the transfer is never 100% cos govt maintains interference ... in otherwords we can conclude privatization is just a collaboration of private & govt, whereby private holds an higher % .history so far as proven there can't be efficiency.
In telecoms there was no privitization, asides service providers obtaining licenses & rights. dangote refinery just like telcomms (airtel, mtn) is going to creat an open market as well what we need is more individual owning refineries ... considering the frequent rate of efficiency on the capitalist path. atiku is welcum 2 own a refinery as well grin let the open market begin frm there

Atiku was right. I think the problem people have with him is trust. He did a bad job when he handled privatisation during his time as the VP. Petrobras model would have been perfect for us.
Rgade:
And when Atiku advocated for that useless company to be sold off, they came for him, they are even attacking him up till today.
and Sarrki come and tell us what darling daddy is doing about the scrap yards nee refineries.
