man, doogee makes terrible phones. I've read online reviews and have a friend that bought one on AliExpress 2yrs back, their phones are real shady.

Not a friend. I bought the doogee y6 max. Me, not a friend. @noobody shipped it from China to me.
My only disappointment was the device not getting an android update from android 6.
Till date no infinix/Tecno made can compete with this device in price or function.
The phone fell about a month ago, and top of the phone stopped touching.
I was working on replacing the touchpad when the lock down got initiated.
I have tested almost every unknown brand available for international shipping from aliexpress to Nigeria.
So I have an above basic idea when it comes to these international companies.
Other than xiaomi, realme, oppo, vivo and Huawei.
The other brands I can recommend though by product not by name is doogee and cubot.

Have u checked their antutu scores to backup ur points? For ur info helio P35 will struggle against snapdragon 632 talkless of 660 which has an antutu score of 140,000+ if I'm correct. I was a fan of tecno phones until they started dishing out underperforming craps with nice designs, I simply logged out of their brand. Just take a look at that Camon 15, who buys that kind of phone for 95k in 2020?

No USB type C port

No Fast Charging (At least 18watts, its not too much to ask for)

It s very few sensors.

No Amoled Display (It would make it stand out)

Helio P35? Why not use P60, P70 or G70? This is pure DAYLIGHT ROBBERY! Peace tho

let me tell you a story

As a DIY guy, my friend bought a dish and free to air decoder, so he called me to help him in tracking Astra 28.8E and badir sat. As a novice but willing to learn kind of person I ed "satelite finder " due to the fact that my phone add com sensor, it was responding and viewing all points in azimuth, my friend was amazed and decided to same app in his Tecno phone, lo and behold when he opened the app, it was not responding, the satellite pointer just remained static, I can see the disappointment in his face but me no send am, that is how we use my phone to point at the direction of the satellite and did little adjustment, the free to air channels came up.
moral of my story, never listen to a Tecno marketer that says sensor don't matter

I tell people around and online daily "Transission does not make smartphone".
It's as simple as put. If you are using any product from transission, don't fall your hands by saying you are using a smartphone. Because when your phone is asked to perform as smart task. It will be completely useless.

You never said p35 is better, you only said "comparable".
Now this explains why Transission holdings(Tecno, Infinix and co) continually uses mtk helio p22 or anything that has the word "chipset" to it, year in year out. the p22 is comparable to any chipset even the incoming snapdragon 875+.

I once bought one fone from jumia(mi-tribe A500), the fone was nice and fantastic, but the day the screen stopped touching even without breaking nor crack I couldn't get the parts, that was the end of it. All dese fones are nice but the problem is the availability of the parts when the need comes. U guys should also try not to demarket another products because u want to make ur own brand popular

I can confidently tell you, no matter the availability of parts of any transision device, it will still remain a sad excuse for a java phone.
No matter the availability of parts of a Transission device, it will not give it gyroscope, com or even gravity sensor.
No matter how much parts is available, the camon 15series will not have usb type c, or any form of fast charge.
Even if the parts are available on the roadside, a Transission device will always remain a lowend java phone with poorly assembled specs.

Samsung.
Huawei.
Realme.
Xiaomi.
Redmi.
Vivo.
Lenovo.
And many more will provide you parts even if you live in sambisa forest.
But the day you change any part of your tecno, infinix or itel device
