It will definitely be a 5-6month journey. I actually did the nursery on 15th of February 2020 with nursery tray and cocopeat.

My target is 3200 stand fully irrigated with drip. The seed has germinate now but I couldn't take the pix because mine phone was down (have been in farm since 14th) I might not be able to be posting day by day because am the only one doing it. Be sure I will be posting the update when am back to city.

Mistake that can cost you your farm: 1 fertilizer; know dosage,when and how to apply it. If you do mistake, your TOMATO will die. 2. Manure, if you do not allow your poultry littter,pig,cow e.g to compost and you use it fresh, your TOMATO will die. 3. Insecticide, if high dosage is use especially on young tomato, the result will be devastating. 4. Namatode, if you don't know history or you are using the farm land for the first time to cultivate TOMATO,it make sense to treat the soil. Have heard someone said "he lost 6000 stand to namatode." 5. Seedlings tray, after you sow seed inside seedlings tray spread them on soil (if the soil is fertile, your seedlings will thank you), if you spread them on concrete they will be dying/cripple one after other maybe 10-15days, because there root has shoot out and could not penetrate to search for nutrient/food.

I did habenaro pepper nursery same way you're doing your tomatoes.. on seedling trays under protected net,.. it didnt end well for my seedlings... not until I did it on raised beds.. let's see, maybe your experience will be different on raised bed

do you use cocopeat? if not then I will expect the germination to be poor and scanty

I used cocopeats ... the germination wasnt the problem.. they just kept dying 1 after the other after a month

I have 5kg of cocopeat for N3500

This is when it 14 days old buh it actually 18days today. Am just back to city that is why I couldn't take the current pix (battery and network issue)

The land will be ridge latest by Sunday and I will do drip installation by Monday

This is my source of water which is 20 meter from the farm.....smile... you will not believe this the water that 3 big camp actually depend on for their daily use.
