It's has happened to me a couple of times though, I didn't take it personal but it's really annoying when people come to celebrate with you and end up without food. Although, most time, it's the servers/caterer's fault and occasionally the celebrant.

But no hard feelings. We move on.

Exactly, misplacement of priorities. Many people spend hundreds of thousands MC and venue but food na wahala.

I don't feel bad. I'll just find the next restaurant and help myself.

I hardly attend events where food is selectively shared. It’s so embarrassing attending an event where special food is given to some while others eat from a “low budgeted pot” talk of not eating at all.

It makes me feel like am not a partaker in the event.

Not because I can't afford d Food they are serving but at dsame tym I feel neglected.

This shouldn't be the reason for attending occasions. For me,i eat before going for an occasion. But there are sometimes the dishes will be tempting and you will be salivating before being served... Mehn! I when working with event planner and caterers. Chai! Those foods ehn......u go wan chop am.
