I dont know if it is possible with other networks but it is quite easy with the Airtel network; matter of fact, they will get it done for you at the shops if you should find it difficult.

And guess what, the charge is off the 1G bundle you get when u subscribe to Airtel BIS.

Again I do not know if this can be done on other networks
