Technology has been both blessing and curse to this generation.
As a tech freak, one will regard tech as a blessing, but from a saner perspective, one may not regard it as a blessing.

With no internet, our youths will be forced to settle for more dignifying activities but now, many have turned out to be internet fraudsters, social media slay queens and twerkers, online gamblers and scammers.

With the internet, our old men have turned to porn addicts who stream petite porns online, which as a result turn some into pedos. This won't be if there is no internet connection.

With no internet, there will be fewer wacks and frog voices in the music industry. As most artistes will rely on live performance rather than studio enhanced production. This will sieve the wacks from the talents.

My career (digital marketing) is built around the internet, if something like that should happen it gonna be really tough. I'll have to result to the traditional way of sales/marketing.. I can still survive.

But for once I can put down my phone, observe and appreciate nature

Theres no one that wont be affected by sudden withdrawal of internet services in this day and age except you're using a basic phone. That said, it will be hellish to say the least, business transactions, news, entertainment and what not all gone, it can really drive you crazy.

Interestingly though, its not far fetched, all it takes is for the government to pull the plugs on either all social media websites or the internet altogether like it has happened recently in some African countries however there are ways to by such restrictions which is a tutorial for another day.
