2010

1. The 4 cylinder engine got a boost and fitted with 6speed auto.

2. The Sport and limited edition got screen and backup camera as standard

3. Car was fitted with EPS

4. probably the engine oil cooler Line would have been changed to metal instead of rubber hose which when damaged causes oil leak leading to Engine failure.

in other words a 2010 model upwards had some extensive upgrade which you won't need to check or do compared to a 08-09 model

Thanks for your reply. But am still confused as per your No 4 reason How do I know that the cooler line has been upgraded to metal? I appreciate you.

Tell your mechanic to check the oil cooler lines and let him confirm which one is used there.

In my pix, the upper one is the rubber that fails, the bottom one is the metallic replacement offered by Toyota for usage.

Thanks. If we check and confirm it to be rubber, can we change it to metal before usage? and generally is the car durable and high in performance for me to choose. Or I should look for another SUV. Thank you.

If it's rubber do change it cause it can fail while in motion and it causes Engine failure.

It's a durable vehicle that would be enjoyed by the .
