The Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, CON, on courtesy visit to the Obi of Onitsha, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe, at his Royal Residence in Onitsha, Anambra State.

The Governor is in the State to attend the Burial Ceremony of Chief Anthony Iwenjiora, father-in-law of His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Atiku, Former Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Present during the visit were, His Excellency, Former President Goodluck Jonathan and wife, The First Lady Imo State, Her Excellency, Lady Ebere Ihedioha, His Excellency, Former Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Liyel Imoke, His Excellency, the Former Governor of Anambra State, Dr Peter Obi, the National Organizing Secretary of the PDP, Col. Austin Akobundu, Rtd, amongst others.

The Governor was accompanied by Hon. Jerry Alagboso, Hon. Bede Eke, Dr Mrs Kema Chikwe, Hon. Rufus Omire, Sir Martin Ejiogu, Barr. PGU Madu, Chief Obinna Duruaku, among other leaders of Imo State.
