There is serious fighting in Ilaje Ajah, Lagos presently going on, gun shots heard and commuters stranded. Everybody running for safety. People should delay ing through that area till security operatives take control. Early mid morning today, pandemonium broke out in Ajah, as suspected land grabbers put a sour taste in the mouth of the morning which is bound to linger in the mind of some families for a long time if not forever. That Ajah area is fast becoming notorious, too many fightings of recent. There is a police station in Ajah not far from Ilaje, but all they do is come to Addo road in the night to extort money from Keke Napep, bike men and innocent car owners. One time, the agberos were fighting with keke drivers under the Ajah bridge (Jubilee Bridge), and the policemen were busy harassing keke drivers just about a minute walk away. There is no security in Nigeria. If you check the areas known to be secure, it is the citizens that are providing the security for themselves. 45 Likes 3 Shares |
