A lady identified as Eunice Favour, has become the first Nigerian in Finland to bag a PhD in Pharmacognosy. 

Husband of the beautiful lady who became the first Nigerian in Finland to bag a PhD in Pharmacognosy from the University of Helsinki, took to Twitter to celebrate the great achievement. He wrote as he shared her photo; 

"Congrats to my wife. You have made us proud as the first Nigerian woman to bag a PhD in Pharmacognosy in University of Helsinki, Finland."

I have never heard of that discipline before...Pharmacognosy. My research interest in Grad School was in Pharmacology but Pharmacognosy is a new one for me. Anyways, congratulations to the lady. I am sure her family is very proud of her.

There is no way you'll make a research on pharmacology that you won't come across pharmacognosy. I'm surprised though.
