In as much as I like the fact that you want to be positive, I just want you to know that this is Nigeria and no whatever you think or know of the CG doesn't play a role in this recruitment process

can go and ask them).
I'm not here to hype the CG but those that are working close to him (try and ask any senior custom officer they will tell you the kind of person he is, that's why they don't like him). He even had an altercation with the Minister of finance which he is supposed to be answerable to, according to an insider he said if the presidency interferes he will resign ( a civilian staff in Custom HQ said it).
The process might not be 100% perfect but even if anybody wants to help you, you must participate in the process and at least perform above average to stand any chance for a little push. As far as this 3200 slot is considered save this post for reference purposes just like I said during registration last year this particular exercise will be the most transparent, if you don't make it, you yourself will know that people who succeeded performed better.

Well the fact that you'll favour your own people doesn't mean their ain't people with integrity that won't compromise. Moreover there is what we call check and balances, if a system/process is under heavy surveillance/scrutiny/audit the tendency to cheat is drastically reduced. I've told you what to do if you don't have any insider in Hq to give you info you can walk into any test centre and ask them to show you the memo they received prior to them being approved for the test, they where threatened with jail term if they skewed the process, infact each center are to give comprehensive report on the process in their centres. I won't say much but you can choose to believe whatever you like, it's amazing how most people who know one person or the other that got the job after paying money, won't themselves pay to get the job. Yes, previous exercise was based on man no man/replacement I'm not arguing it what saying is that this particular exercise for 3200 slots is directly surprised by the CG, unless the connect leaked expo to you prior to the test(which is most unlikely) together with your qualifications I might conceed to that but anyone promising you slot w/o you sitting for the exam wants to eat your money. Moreover the Navy has being conducting enlistment for years which have being transparent to a reasonable extent( there have never being anything like replacement in Navy) so it's possible for a govt agency to be transparent if they mean to make it so, depending on the Leader in charge. If not that I was totally disinterested in Customs I would have being an officer via replacement w/o even paying a dime as far back as 2015 before Ali came and disrupted things, now that same I was banking on opened up that their hands are tied. You people don't know that this same exercise was nearly cancelled around September last year because of fierce lobbying by Politicians and high ranking officers but the man refused. Even after the exams some senators where trying to frustrate the process to no avail, let me just keep quiet sha as this is a public forum.
Let's just sit and watch how this process unfolds, I think I've overflogged it enough.

If you don't know that was one of the ways pruning down the numbers of participants @ over 800k applicants jostling for 3200slots one would expect the firm handling it to implore all tactics to reduce the number of applicants while also did you think they shifted the venue to state of origin despite candidates choosing their state of residence as exam centre? it's all part of the ways to reduce applicants that doesn't mean that the process wasn't transparent, Moreover there was a way to check if one was shortlisted regardless if such person got an email or not.
The sad reality is that getting jobs in Nigeria esp govt is survival of the fittest and you can't really blame people handling the exercise when they use unorthodox way to reduce applicants.

Some of you even if Jesus conducts this exercise you people will say it's not transparent at least let all of us wait till the end of the exercise before casting aspersions on the integrity of the process.
I have being to interview in multinational firms where they didn't follow the books in a bid to reduce the number of applicants they have to contend with, this is a well known practice it's not new to Nigerians except you graduated last year.
While I still have my reservations, at least all the guys here before and during the registration process can attest to the fact that Ugo have being consistent with his views except you just came here during or after the exams. I how some guys here where discouraging people not to apply that slots have already being shared, while they themselves secretly applied and the gullibles followed their advice only to regret it when notification came in for the exams.
I'll advise we all sheath our sword and wait till the process is concluded.
