Under normal circumstances, all that should not matter but in Nigeria, nothing seems to operate normally and that makes me fear for Yar'adua (Mr. Gentility). Only good news for me is that his hands have not being soiled with corruption in the past and he was once a member of a communist/socialist group in ABU Zaria. But does he have the ruggedness to survive the terrain? He looks frail and fragile!

No.it is'nt that Yaradua is the first that attended a Nigerian university,it is that Zik was never Nigeria's ruler. He was essentially,some would say unfortunately,a ceremonial head.
May i ask,how do you know whose hands have been soiled by corruption?a year ago Yaradua was not on Nigeria's raddar,much of what we know about him is largely PDP propaganda.His inadequacies,if there exist, would soon be served up for our consumption.

I dont think he has any for now, otherwise the opposition parties would have used it against PDP.
My only prayer is that he should be given free hand by those (ko si arugbo ni Ghana) that refuse to leave Nigeria alone,
I did my service in his State in 2005-2006 and i believe he is focus and has vision.

For me, I will say let's wait and see how things unfold. Afterall, OBJ seemed focused when came to power newly but totally lost this focus when he wanted to perpetuate himself into becoming a life president.

He will be a great leader people just give the man a chance. After all he is on dialysis, who knows when his time will come
