Technically speaking, you can have s.ex with someone who is HIV positive you just need to be safe about it. Having sex with someone who has HIV does not me you will automatically get it. I have a friend who was born with HIV and she as an active and safe sex life. If you don't wanna have intimacy with her, just be upfront with her.
