This is awesome. Me too. Moving from construction to data analysis, then data science as a semi-stop.

Im on the self-taught train but i have quite a number of networks helping me.

There is a road path that i researched for myself, as well as people who might want to learn on their own.

1. Programming for data science with python - udacity

2. Python 3 - codecademy

3.IBM Data analyst professional certificate -coursera

4. Data visualization with tableau- coursera

5. Data science - databricks (basic basic )


Please note that all of these courses are (paid)

So far, i v certs in just the first 2 and i v a handful knowledge of python (pandas , numpy), sql, tableau, github, and excel for analysis, well enough to get my first job (entry level).

With the Will and determination, one will go places...

Have you thought about digital twins and building energy modelling? Most of the software used is python based and it could be a halfway house between engineering and IT. It would enable you not neglect your construction experience and profit from the experience gained.

You might have to do a certification course in it or in Sustainable Energy Engineering but its a growing field that is expanding at the moment!

My best friend is currently doing something related to that at uofT, as a research assistant.

Yes im aware, thanks a lot. Its a reason i wanna venture into data science cos its that aspect that deals in the Machine Learning, and AI...

For a start, i planned to master my data analysis skills first while learning the advanced on the job as time goes on.

You'll find Indomie in any decent-sized Chinese supermarket. I'm not 100% certain about goat meat (I'm certain of pork) but you can also get fresh (?) meat and fish from the butcher part of Chinese supermarkets.

I think the issue Count has a problem with is people bringing in food that they can also get in Canada. Makes it seem like they are going to live in a desert or something

I know some guys that brought Indomie without issues but not sure if this was Chicken, You can reserve that space for other food items like Ogbono and the likes that are pricey in African stores. You will get indomie cheap in African stores. I buy a carton for 20 dollars.

Couldn't find onion flavor alone, what I saw was chicken onion flavor.
