By law, respect for the office of the president or head of government in any clime is not a matter of choice but a civic obligation sanctioned by laws. You know too well that the rice you are eating today is imported into this country. And if you don't know that this is a Lie, the picture below will proof to you that instead of stopping rice importation, we are increasing it because Nigeria is tipped to become the 2nd largest importers of rice in the world in 2019.
Nigeria only produces about 3.7million metric tonnes annually while the demand is about 6.7million metric tonnes. So how do we meet this demand if not through import?

Take for example, reno talked about Nigeria's food importation as been high. The question is, is he expecting Nigeria with a population of close to 200 million people, to import the same quantity of food with say a country like Ghana with population of 30 million people? They will always come and talk about numbers of out of school children, poverty rate and so on. And be comparing Nigeria with countries that have one tenth of Nigeria's population.
