PRESS RELEASE Ekiti EXCO set up committee to review irregular appointments in state public service The Ekiti State Executive Council at its sitting today, December 5, 2018, took some major decisions regarding appointments into the Public Service. 1) All Executive Secretaries appointed after the July 21, governorship election in the State are to revert to their former positions. 2) All other appointments to the Public Service that did not go through due process, involving biometrics would be reviewed by an EXCO Committee headed by the Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi. 3) The committee is also to determine available vacancies within the public service which will lead to the commencement of fresh recruitment process. 4) Other of the committee are the Acting Head of Service, the SSG, Commissioner for Finance and the Chief of Staff.
