@POLITICSNGR Apex Igbo Organization, Ohanaeze Ndiigbo has stated that it has not officially endorsed any Presidential Candidate yet. It will be recalled that the organization made headlines recently when it welcomed the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar but speaking to newsmen on Monday in Enugu, the group's Spokesman, Mr Chuks Ibegbu said that the group will formally declare for a candidate in January 2019. PoliticsNGR further gathered that Ibegbu asked Nigerians to reject politicians that have nothing to offer them and those that have kept them in suffering over the years. He also warned INEC against any form of electoral malfeasance calling on voters to vote and secure their votes. "Nobody should take Nigerians for a ride this time with fake promises," Ibegbu noted. Hmm Fact is in 2023, Igboland would be in pole position as regards presidency assuming Bubu wins next year. Atiku, on the other hand, has not fully committed to being a one term president should he win. Ohaneze is basically hedging their bets.
