Doyin Okupe is known for singing praises for money. An educated man that lacks both insight and foresight.

Atiku's business and source of wealth is dependent on Southern Protectorate. This is possible because Southern Protectorate does not control its resources and destiny. If it did Atiku would be bowing to Southerners to get business deals.

It is illogical and counterintuitive, only the dumbest of characters would therefor believe and trust when Atiku says he will change the order so that instead of his free access to take what he wants from Southern Protectorate, he would prefer instead to be restricted and made to bow to a man of Southern Protectorate in order to find business.
