EKET SEN DISTRICT ENDORSEMENT RALLY FOR GOV EMMANUEL HOLDS AUG 24

All is now set for a formal endorsement rally to honour the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel.

Tagged Eket Senatorial District Mega Endorsement Rally, the event is scheduled to hold on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Onna Township Stadium.

According to the media and publicity sub-committee tly headed by member of Mkpat Enin state constituency, Hon. Otobong Ndem and Mr Ekerete Udoh, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the occasion shall be chaired by Sir Etim Okpoyo, former Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

The statement invites all to the events, described as a grand Homecoming of an Illustrious Son of Eket senatorial district.

Among reasons cited for the celebration of the Governor by his senatorial district, are his ingenuity which has led to numerous industries,  job opportunities, free education with WAEC fees,  stability in power supply, improved healthcare delivery, affordable and sufficient food supply and security, and lots more.

It would be recalled that the Ikot Ekpene and Uyo senatorial districts had recently rallied in separate colourful endorsement ceremonies, where Governor Udom Emmanuel was unanimously celebrated and endorsed for a second term.

Udom Emmanuel is from Eket Senatorial district, the Eket people are proud of their son for his great performance in office.

Meanwhile something tells me there's actually no rift between Akpabio and Udom. I think both are in on this (alleged) Akpabio defection.

Udom has always been pro-PMB albeit silently. I think this is a ploy to deliver a certain amount of Akwa Ibom votes to Buhari.

This picture was taken November last year when Udom ed PMB and Tinubu to Ivory Coast

Dave Umahi was with him to Morocco in June. Forget the noise about him refusing APC the use of Abakiliki stadium or APC saying he would lose the state. All na distraction.

Ayade accompanied him to Togo only last week.

These three PDP governors, whether they defect or not are surely working for PMB.

Besides self interest, Akpabio as senate president will also be of great benefit to Akwa Ibom state. If Udom will defect, it'll be after he had won the election and Akpabio made SP.
