According to reports, police men have arrested and detained some youths along Bank road in Owerri, Imo state capital. The youths were arrested on their way to a burial ceremony for allegedly failing to stop at a checkpoint. Information gathered has it that their vehicles refused to stop for a normal police check before they were intercepted and arrested. It was alleged that firearms with live bullets were seen in one of the vehicles when the vehicles were searched. They have been fingered to be cultists.
