Youths from across the district of Gwanara converged at Beteru/Suuru villages in Kwara state and forcefully stopped the planned political meeting scheduled to take place in Gwanara yesterday, 2nd August, 2018.

The convoy of Hon. Zakari Mohammed, lawmaker representing Kiama/Baruteen Federal Constituency which conveyed ers of the senate president Bukola Saraki - were denied access into the villages.

The villagers set up a fire in the middle of the road to achieve their aim. 

The aggrieved people said they are fed up of fake campaign promises and tired of deceits as they reportedly insisted that they will not entertain anything Saraki again.

The caption should have read " APC YOUTHS STOPS THE POLITICAL MEETING..." the state decampees of PDP gave these youths some small change to high on codein, tramadol and weed and they are here disgracing themselves. saraki's actions speak for him, he doesn't make noise.

My friend, in APC he was harmless. In PDP he can become their aspirant.

This is the calculation that is making Offa people so happy now. To finish Saraki finally, Buhari just needs to allow free and fair election in Kwara while checkmating Saraki rigging machine.

Kwara North and Kwara South will reject him and he will lose many seats in House of Assembly and some House of Reps seat. The Kwara South Senate seat might even be lost to Saraki club.

The problem with these people decamping up and down is that Buhari is not Jonathan. Buhari while he personally doesn't want to use federal power, will end up using it due to the influence of people like Dambazau and Babagana Kingibe who are die-hard northern supremacist politicians.

Saraki is taking huge risk now. If Buhari istration dedicate federal power to checkmate him in Kwara, his rigging machine which has become so weak will fall apart.

Saraki has failed his people apparently , but i hope this won't spiral to bloodshed, some youths might go to the extent of searching for saraki loyalists and harming them, it won't be healthy , there's already too much blood being spilled by criminal elements

This politicians are few people with the mentality of deceiving millions of Nigerians. The step taken by the youths of Kwara state is part of the steps to be taken, to get them corrected asap.They will do anything for you during campaign and immediately they win they come around with maximum security that they don't recognize you anymore and I won't blame them too, its because the masses believe we must collect money before exercising our rights like we rightly saw in the just concluded Ekiti Election. SAY NO TO POLITICAL DECEIT IN 2019.
