Baseband ic is about to go. Do not update or flash. Take it to a competent technician to fix it.

sorry for the late reply. First of all was the fingerprint working before? If yes, when did u noticed that the fingerprint no longer works? 2ndly, has did u work on the phone recently? I will need ur answers to determine if it’s a software glitch or hardware.

You can't update, upgrade or wipe.
If something go wrong and you have no choice than wipe, you must be sure the ios version you are updating/upgrading to is jailbreakable else the by is gone and you are locked back to activation screen

so all icloud byed phones are jailbroken

everything is then same. except when u reset ur phone to factory reset(wiping) the WWU will go back to sim lock and u will have to unlock it again. doesn't cost much though. but if u have the chip then u can run it urself

bro u can not unlock iCloud. The best way is to either the person u bought the phone from for the details or if the phone is urs but u forgot ur reset ur and then try with it.

check your storage. if its not full then reset all ur settings, if it still didn't fix it back up and reset the phone

My 8 plus stopped working in December, gave it to a repair guy, he said it was power issue. He repaired it , SIM stopped working. Upgraded to iOS 15 two weeks after repairing it, worked for two days and just turned off.
Went back to the repair guy, he said it's a faulty U.

Is this common with the 8plus ?
Is there any good repair guy in computer village in Lagos?

First of all brother,there’s nothing like Face ID in iPhone 8plus
Face ID starts from iPhone X series and above
The Face ID in x series and above is equivalent to the fingerprint ID in iPhone 8plus and below

iPhone 8plus back glass will cost you 8k
Then home button is 5k
Then workmanship varies

If I was the one handling it I’ll charge you 1.5k or 2k for workmanship
