Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Redmi 6 & Redmi 6A as an the successor Xiaomi Redmi 5. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 comes in two memory variants of 3GB RAM + 32GB in-built storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB in-built storage.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based on MIUI 9 pre-loaded (upgradable to MIUI 10) with MediaTek Helio P22 processor.

This is not just any Mediatek Chipset oo... This is Helio P22 and A22 for the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A each clocking at 2.0 GHz... The Chipsets are actually an upgrade over the normal Snapdragon 425 seen on Budget Xiaomi Smartphones. Even the Antutu Benchmark of these phones suggest that these Chipsets are more powerful. You can check it out yourself and compare with the Redmi 5 and 5A that had SD chipset.
