The Nigerian army has upped its game in the battle to rid criminality from the country. According to an online report, the Nigerian Army on Thursday received some large cache of assorted arms and ammunition from its foreign defense partners. The army also received delivery of engines of armoured tanks, bullet proof vests and spare parts of armoured vehicles.

The military items were delivered after touching down yesterday at Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport in Abuja.

Certainly, Buhari will share some among his fellow herdsmen and the killing will continue in the middle-belt

Sadly, I agree with some posters above me. Some saboteurs will ensure that some get to the hands of so-called herdsmen, terrorists, militants and even armed robbers. May God's judgement rest on the generation of whoever has a hand in the killing of innocent Nigerians-whether Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo or whatever tribe.

Another election year looming sees another cache of arms discovered at our ports. Nothing to fear, it's only bush politics in one of Africa's many jungles.

I seem not to understand the mofo behind this publicity stunt, Army brings in assorted ammunition and its all over social media so that "the enemies" should "take dressing" and re-strategize?

When will the Nigerian military start to invest locally so as to have these arms manufactured here? We are sinking deeper into this imperialist world. We keep exporting jobs and later they will empower the youths with shoe shinning kits.

You have a population of over 180million people. Yet, we cannot forge our own weapons. This same population is not good enough to produce a car for the president. Our security chiefs are busy riding in bullet proof Mercedes and BMW. Ibe Kachikwu told us it's cheaper to import petroleum products than to refine in Nigeria without considering the implications of having an unproductive population.

Then when a group of people decides they don't want to be part of the country they all go haywire when they themselves don't believe in the Nigerian people.

It's on record that the Biafran military did manufacture arms and also refined crude oil in the face of necessity. Yet, Nigeria as a whole haven't been able to achieve such a feet and some people are happy just the way it is.

More weapons for boko harm to use..

Nigerian soldiers always abandon their weapons stash in the heat of firefight..

That's how boko haram keeps getting their fresh supplies.
