President Muhammadu Buhari has described the death of Senator Ali Wakil from Bauchi State as "an incalculable loss to Nigeria's democracy whose dedication to duty was remarkable and worthy of emulation." The President said that the death of the senator came as a great shock to him, adding that his dedication to duty would remain one of the greatest virtues for which the deceased would be ed. According to President Buhari, “the ion for duty was one of the finest qualities of late Senator Wakil,” as he urged other democratically elected leaders to borrow a leaf from the deceased's record of dedication. The President, while praying to Allah to bless the soul of the departed senator, also extended his condolences to his family, his colleagues in the National Assembly, as well as the government and people of Bauchi State over this great loss to the country. This was one of my finest Distinguish Senators of our time. His death came to me as a rude shock, hardly will we have such a humble and dedicated philanthropist Senator. He will be ed for his humility, philanthropy, patriotism and dedication to Nation building and service to humanity. To my brother and my Coleaque Wakili he left behind, take heart on the fact that your father leave a life worthy of emulation, he has left his foot on the sand of time. RIP Most, Most and Most Distinguished Senstor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Something about this thread doesn't make sense. It has been on fp for several hours yet it hasn't received posts to fill the first page of thread. Any explanations? As for subject matter, it would have been nice to have noticed senator speaking up publicly about the corruption NASS and selfish , anti-democratic and anti-Nigeria policies that the NASS leadership are operating.
