holocron:I get that.... but how will this raise the standard of the schools? When it comes to science schools need labs..... updated labs period in which they can test theories...do experiments and come up with innovations. How can we move forward without providing the environment? Heaven knows what is really behind all this. |

By SS2, any science competition to improve science education is already late. If interswitch is serious with its push for a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) education, then the competition must have a junior category where as early as JSS2 students can compete unless they are telling us that our SS2 students are comparable to year 8 students abroad. Though the comparison might be right, I see it as insulting. If you are going to do something then do it right! 1 Like |
