1. Note the name of the errant FRSC official. This can be obtained from the nametag on their uniforms.



2. Also, note the date, time and location of the assault, infringement on your right, harassment, etc. by the FRSC official.


3. Write a detailed report that captures how the act was committed.


4. Get a witness or witnesses to the offence that you are reporting.


5. Get the witness to write a report too.


6. Attached as much information and evidences (e.g. videos, audios recordings, pictures, documents, witnesses, etc.) to your complaints.

9. Deliver the report in person at the Public Relations Unit, Federal Road Safety Corps, National Headquarters, 3 Maputo Street., Zone 3, Wuse, Abuja, Nigeria. Or any of the state sector command. Funny enough I was observing their activities opposite UBA bank in Orlu, IMO state today.. Mobile court was in one corner of the road, while extortion point was at the other corner... They were even working hand in hand with police for the extortion part...

We still have a long way to go in this country...

Why has it been difficult for FRSC to keep the road safe before harassing Nigerians over their personal safety such as seat belts, fire extinguisher, spare tyre. Most roads are not marked for safe Night driving, those that were marked have wiped off and nothing is being done, most traffic lights are not working and some were hazardously placed, no influence on Ministry of works to keep pot holes out. National Universities Commission is your best bet.

Other law enforcement agencies can do same by providing a site to report such cases of human right abuses.

FRSC people are the most corrupt, disorganized and most wicked of all the uniform forces in Nigeria..


Avoid them on the road like you avoid leprosy.

They cause lots of accidents on the road these days.

These guys are unprofessional. Come to Lagos in the morning and monitor them between Berger and Seven-up (up to Ketu junction on high way), you will weep for this country.
When they see truck, you will see them over-speeding to catch up with the truck like rat that want to steal 36million. They almost cause accident when they were after a van before the driver enter state road. The corruption level is alarming and l know they will never remit the money collected to government.
