As reported by GizChina in December 2017 , a list of smartphones which will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset on board got leaked. Among the smartphones listed in the leak was the OnePlus 6 would be launching in June. Initially taken with a pinch of salt, the CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau has now confirmed it in a recent interview with CNET at the Bellagio outside of CES on Wednesday.

According to him, “There’s no other choice” for his company than the Snapdragon 845. OnePlus 6 is scheduled to launch late in the second quarter, which is towards the end of June. As of now, it is not quite clear if the phone will be called OnePlus 6 or if there will be a different variant to the name as has now come to be the norm.

Asked if the Chinese company will embrace partnering with carriers in the United States for the sale of its phones, Lau expressed optimism saying;

“If the right opportunity and right timing come along, we’ll be very happy to experiment”,

He however remained tight-lipped as to when a deal should be expected.

The OnePlus 6 is expected to continue in the trend of the Chinese company’s recently found success with the OnePlus 5T which one of the best Iris Recognition setups in the market. The OnePlus 5T quickly became its fastest- and best-selling product after its launch in November

I got one plus 2 some years back, their were into Just in Time (JIT) so you needed an invite to get the phone. Yes it was cheap but the experience was not all that. Heats up like hell while gaming.

Hi, fellow NairaLanders.
I seriously need help from you guys.
I noticed that any month in which we have seriously bad electric supply, the PHCL/NEPA staff brings bills that’s not like the usual type. It looks like photocopy from the suppose original one. They probably make this photocopies and distribute (without the consent of the management). They say “the printing machine is faulty”. This happens whenever we had a month of very bad power supply, like last December.
Pls. what do I do. I believe something illegal is on.
