Verbal Kint from The Usual Suspects is also an epic and memorable character.  kiss

Then we have Tyler Durden from Fight Club.  cheesy

And Lisbeth Salander is one of the most memorable female protagonists I think (from the Millenium films).  smiley

These characters aren't necessarily likeable - but they're awesome.  grin
